Bring A Kawasaki Kids event
to Your Community

Every event matters, and every community has the power to make a difference. By becoming a Kawasaki Kids Foundation Event Coordinator, you can bring awareness, education, and family support directly to your community. Host a Kickin’ Kawasaki 5K, organize a Kawasaki Classic golf tournament, create a fundraiser of your own, or bring us a completely new idea. There’s no one way to make an impact.

You don’t need to be a professional event planner. You just need passion, a willingness to bring people together, and the drive to make a difference for kids and families affected by Kawasaki Disease. Our team will work alongside you with guidance, resources, branding, planning support, and the experience we’ve gained from hosting events across the country.

Your community. Your event. One powerful purpose.

Ready to bring Kawasaki Kids Foundation to your community?

Kickin' Kawasaki 5K Fun Run

When we started our first golf tournament, we had no idea what it could become. We simply wanted to bring people together, raise awareness for Kawasaki Disease, and help families like ours. Years later, it has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined.

You don’t have to know everything about putting on an event to get started. You need a reason, some passion, and people willing to rally around you. The relationships we’ve built, the families we’ve helped, and the impact we’ve made have been incredible.

If you’ve ever thought about bringing a golf tournament or event to your community, do it. We’ll be right there to help you build it.

The Heart Behind our events

Over the past few years, we've realized how few people are aware of Kawasaki Disease and the serious toll it can take on a child. That’s why, with the support of our community and the Kawasaki Kids Foundation, we hosted the 1st Annual Kickin’ Kawasaki 5K in Dumas, TX.

We were overwhelmed by the love and support from our small Panhandle towns. Not only did we raise funds to support KD research and the Foundation’s mission, but we also connected with other local Kawasaki families — forming bonds that might never have existed otherwise.

Most importantly, we raised awareness. We had the chance to share our story and show others that while KD may change your path, it doesn't have to define your future.

To other Kawasaki Disease families: I encourage you to share your story. I truly believe we are each given our journey for a reason — even if we don’t always understand why. Our story was meant to be shared, and we hope that in doing so, we might help another family recognize the signs, seek a diagnosis sooner, and ultimately, save a child’s heart.
